Tickets and passes can be purchased in advance of your trip at any of our Ticket Agents. Tickets and passes are non-refundable and cannot be replaced if lost, damaged or stolen.
All tickets and passes remain the property of Milton Transit and cannot be altered or reproduced in any manner. Fare fraud is a serious offence; any unlawful use of Milton Transit fare media may result in confiscation and/or criminal charges.
Milton Transit single-ride tickets must be purchased in books of ten (10) tickets. Upon boarding, insert the ticket into the bills section of the farebox.
Day passes are valid for unlimited trips as indicated on the pass. A single day pass can be used by one adult or senior, and up to three (3) youths, 18 years of age and under. Day passes must be validated by the operator for the day it is being used. Once validated, and for all ensuing trips, the day pass can simply be shown to the operator upon boarding.
Monthly passes are valid for unlimited trips during the month indicated on the face of the pass. Clearly present your monthly pass to the operator upon boarding. Please note that you may be asked to provide photo identification to verify the pass classification (e.g. Student Pass). Monthly passes can be purchased in advance at any of our Ticket Agents and are available for purchase during the following time periods:
The Government of Canada offers a program to provide Canadians a non-refundable tax credit to help cover the cost of public transit. Customers who purchase Milton Transit monthly passes are eligible to claim this credit on their income tax returns. Remember to keep your monthly passes for income tax purposes, as we cannot reissue receipts or replace lost passes. For more information about the Transit Tax Credit, visit the Government of Canada's Transit Pass website.
