Posted on Thursday April 04, 2019

News Release

Milton Transit is inviting the public to provide input on the 2019-2023 Milton Transit Service Review and Master Plan Update. The plan will review and recommend service improvements, new services and new technologies to support Milton Transit.

Two drop-in Community Meetings take place on Tuesday, April 9. The first is at the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton/Main Library from 2 to 4 pm (Presentation at 2:45 pm). The second is at the Milton Sports Centre from 7 to 9 pm (Presentation 7:45 pm). An online survey is also available starting April 9 at www.LetsTalkMilton.ca/TransitMasterPlan

Everyone who completes the survey in-person or online will be entered into a draw to win a new iPad.

“Milton Transit considers a number of factors when planning service improvements, including the public feedback we receive regularly,” said Tony D’Alessandro, Manager, Transit. “We encourage Miltonians to keep the conversation going to shape the future of our transit system and meet the needs of our growing community.”

The draft service plan will be presented to Milton Council this spring. Council will consider financial implications associated with the service plan as part of the 2020 budget process.
