The Town of Milton is developing a Transportation Master Plan (TMP), in conjunction with consultants MMM Group, as part of a proactive approach to planning for growth and a vision of a well-connected community. The TMP will help prepare for a future where residents, employees and visitors have viable transportation choices to travel in and around the town to get to work, school and play destinations.
The plan will will define an integrated network of walking, cycling, transit routes and streets that are safe and efficient for the movement of people and goods. This network will serve varying ages and abilities and will link to neighbouring municipalities and the greater surrounding region.
We encourage you to get involved! Provide your input at a public session and online:

The Town of Milton engaged Dillon Consulting Ltd. to help undertake a Transit Master Plan - Moving Milton Forward. The purpose of the plan was to conduct a comprehensive review of Milton Transit conventional and paratransit services covering 2013 to 2017. The primary objectives of the Plan were to provide recommendations that will increase transit ridership, improve system efficiency/financial performance and enhance the customer experience. The Transit Master Plan also builds on existing successes and presents innovative strategies to meet the challenges of a growing population in Milton. A variety of public input was collected during the development of the Transit Master Plan. Transit Master Plan Working Papers and a summary outlining study recommendations was presented to Council on March 25, 2013.
